Steel pallets-also known as metal or iron pallets-are unitized handling tools manufactured from steel or galvanized steel sheets using specialized forming equipment, rivet connections, and CO₂ gas-shielded welding. Their basic structure consists of a single-layer deck supported by longitudinal beams, blocks, or legs; designed with a height suitable for forklift operations, they serve as auxiliary equipment for industrial warehousing and transportation.
These pallets are primarily used for floor storage, rack storage, and intermodal cargo handling. Available types include galvanized sheet pallets and two-way or four-way entry models, with structural designs ranging from single-sided and double-sided to four-way entry configurations. They offer the highest load-bearing capacity among pallet types and are 100% recyclable and eco-friendly. Their surfaces feature anti-slip treatments and hemmed edges, providing waterproof and rust-resistant properties. Unlike wooden pallets, they pose no risk of pest infestation; compared to plastic pallets, they offer superior strength, wear resistance, and temperature tolerance. They require no fumigation for export, comply with international environmental regulations, and demonstrate exceptional stability when used in racking systems.
